Don’t Republicans realize that Obama is just going to restore the tax breaks how they were before Bush?

From what I hear all around me I don’t think people understand that Obama is just slicing off the newest tax breaks added to the 250,000 above that were just added during the Bush Administration which have already proven not to have helped the economy.

If you recall correctly, it was Bush who gave us the tax breaks.

Certain Americans want there to be a distinction between them and the lower class. They want that division because it puts them at a level of superiority and security. If ALL of us were rich or at the same economic level then that would make them no better than the next man. In a room full of people there is always at least one person who wants to be richer than, more attractive than, and/or more powerful than the rest…That is capitalism. Socialism is wanting to do anything and everything to put EVERYONE on the same playing field and equal platform so that no one has to be or feel inferior.

Yes, and that means higher taxes ala the Clinton years. Bush gave us the tax breaks. Do the research.

and do you realize that in doing that he is raising taxes? if your paying 3 % now and the tax breaks are gone you will pay9% that is a raise not to mention the fact that he hasn’t said that or if he has do you realize that Clinton raised taxes?

    eh, wrong!
he is letting them all expire. which is for 100% of americans.

pay attention to what he says. he says very clearly he will roll the taxes back to what they were under clinton.

Don’t be so naive. And don’t believe everything you hear around you. If Obama wins we are ALL screwed. People are just to naive to see that.

Sorry to inform you, but in 2010, Bush’s tax cuts will expire. Those tax cuts were for anyone making $25,000 and up. So this really will be a double tax increase on those making $250k and up, but to pretty much every one else as well. As for proof that those cuts work, the last 7 years did expand the US economy.

Everyone wants to tax the rich, but does it occur to anyone else, that the rich pay most of our wages and already most of the taxes? So while its easy to say, take it from them, but if we continue to penalize those who invest capital, who will we take it from once they have nothing left?

You are kidding….read up and you will find your thought is incorrect. I am not a republican but McCain is the man. Look at Obama record of voting and my friend listen with open ears. At first he stated $250k, then it was $200k then it was $148k you will get taxed under the plan he voted for in past $46k and up…..you will support the welfare queens that are on the system because they wish not to work…..I am not speaking of the disabled or ill…..he has been in senate for three years and out of the three years been campaigning for two of them. He insults you when he stated he did not know his aunt was here illegally, he insults you when he smiles when confronted about having friendships with known terrorists….and you want him in the white house. When our nation falls because of him will you speak nationally and tell our children and grandchildren how sorry you are for voting for him not accepting the facts and you assisted the fall of our nation that will be left to our children and grandchildren to fix.

If we educate ourselves we would find McCain cross isles many times and did not support his rep friends. And for goodness sake McCain is not Bush!!!!!!!!!

Think of the person you think is the worst you know and because you know that person you are just like that person you are that person and just as bad. That is what is equates to with all this nonsense about Bush. Bush is not running!

Vote McCain for safety of our nation or build your bomb shelter cuz Obama will be tested then you will cry

Some people are ignorant enough to listen to the McCain campaign’s outrageous remarks. As Obama has said several times, even though the rich will have to pay higher taxes, it will still be lower than when Reagan was President.

P.S. So, Republicans, do you think that Reagan’s a socialist, too?

In other words, raise taxes on everyone making over about $35,000. He isn’t getting rid of the alternate minimum tax that was the ‘trade off’ in the Bush tax cuts, either, so that is a double whammy on the middle class.
