What is Sony’s business plans for PS3?
August 25th, 2009
iObserve asked:
I have a feeling that Sony is shifting directions for the PS3. Instead of doing Role Playing Games like before, they want to shift it to First Person Shooting, Third Person Shooting, and Action Games to compete in the American market. But this is just my assumption, so what do you think is the real business plan for PS3?

Sony’s never gonna give you a straight up awnser as to what there intentions are, but after seeing E3, awhile ago its very safe to say that this generation has gone tot eh shooters. Most of its launch titles that did well have been shooters, and with the new Killzone coming up, that will only open up more market for shooting games. Its safe to say however that Sony hasnt forgotten its RPGS, FF13 is TBA in 2009.
I think Sony will be doing better than last year due to their coming of new contents. They start to have good exclusives coming soon such as Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and much more. Also don’t forget about the Home online, it looks really innovative and better than the other online worlds.
They are also going to have a massive online multiplayer shooting game called M..A.G. which can hold up to 200 something people in one server!
